The Bishop Dr. Karl Golser Foundation
, founded in 2015, has the purpose to convey medical information to people who suffer from Atypical Parkinsonism – like Bishop Karl Golser – and all who accompany them. Furthermore, the Foundation aims to promote scientific research into the disease and to facilitate development of appropriate therapeutic measures.
As an internationally well-known professor of moral theology, Karl Golser has delved into the ethical issues of life in general and into sick fellow human beings in particular. Therefore, he has endorsed the establishment of the Foundation, inaugurated on the 20th
June 2015 with a ceremony at the Imperial Palace in Bressanone.
